SharePoint over the WAN We cover accessing portals and sites from across various topologies and the bandwidth requirements that go with it. In the Lab we cover installing WSS separately and connecting it to a separate portal. Also, we cover how to install a specific WSS site into its own database. Implementing Shared ServicesThis module teaches what shared services are and when to use them. In the Lab you will learn how to enable shared services on a portal. We also explain the differences between inter-farm vs. intra-farm shared services. SharePoint to the Extranet Configuration>In this module we go deep into Extranet configuration for SharePoint. You will learn about different authentication methods and their impact on SharePoint. You will complete labs on setting up certificate services, creating certificates, using them to publish SharePoint securely. You will also learn how to set SharePoint up for anonymous access, how to configure alternate portal access, and how to point multiple portals to the same content database. Prerequisites:
