Introduction

This is the first course in a three part series that introduces the learner to Microsoft SharePoint Server 2001 as a new collaboration product that delivers the ability to easily create corporate Web portals with document management, enterprise content indexing, and team collaboration features.

Audience

The intended audience for this course includes information technology (IT) professionals, Microsoft Office administrators, and Microsoft Certified Solution Providers.

  • Identify the features of the Windows 2000 Security model used by SharePoint Server.

Duration

8 hours

Course prerequisites are Windows 2000 file system security (groups, settings, and permissions; document management systems; Windows applications and Internet browsers, and learners must also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2000.
